Guinness is bringing a virtual reality beer tasting experience to Tesco stores across the UK in a campaign by R/GA London. As customers taste three new beers, they are immersed in an abstract environment where they experience colours, textures, movements and sounds that are meant to enhance the flavour profiles. The voice of Peter Simpson, master brewer at the Guinness Open Gate brewery in Dublin, guides users through the tasting.
R/GA consulted food and flavour scientist Professor Charles Spence to design the experience, and MPC created the animated visuals and sonic environment.

Yeni González is one of the mothers who suddenly found herself thousands of miles away from her children this spring, after President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy went into effect. This TIME Red Border Film documentary shows how grassroots activists banded together to transport González from a detention center in Eloy, Ariz., to New York City, where her children were placed at a social service agency after the undocumented family crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and was apprehended by the Border Patrol in May.

1953, Jacqueline Auriol, a French pilot, is about to go down in history along with her jet aircraft.
Jacqueline Marie-Thérèse Suzanne Douet took up flying in 1946, got her pilot’s license in 1948 and became an accomplished stunt flier and test pilot. Jacqueline was severely injured in a crash of a SCAN 30 in which she was a passenger in 1949—many of the bones in her face were broken—and spent nearly three years in hospitals undergoing 33 reconstructive operations. To occupy her mind she studied algebra, trigonometry, aerodynamics, and other subjects necessary to obtain advanced pilot certification.
She earned a military pilot license in 1950 then qualified as one of the first female test pilots. She was among the first women to break the sound barrier and set five world speed records in the 1950s and 1960s.
On four occasions she was awarded the Harmon International Trophy by an American president in recognition of her aviation exploits.
Chris Boucher wasn’t supposed to be in the NBA. But he is. ‘Grind Now, Shine Later’ is the story of how he made it this far. It’s that unlikely underdog tale told again and again, but never ceases to amaze. It’s about overcoming adversity, against all odds, and turning negatives into positives. It’s about inspiring others through action. It’s about grinding now so you can shine later.
