The Dock - A Paddleless Wave
Stab Magazine took some of their favourite Volcom surfers, a 100 foot plastic dock and a balinese surf lineup to create one of the craziest concepts to hit surfing yet. The intention was to create an experiment of a paddleless wave. However, turned out it wasn’t set up to be all that easy. Thankfully the recipe for injury didn’t end in disaster, although it had a penchant for making surfboards look like they’d fallen from the roof of a car madly swerving down a highway.
